EG Dynamic Timing Advance Processor is being used to advance the Ignition in engines which run on CNG / LPG fuels in order to optimize their engine power and improve their performance and driveability. This TAP is specially useful in new generation cars which are VVT, VTVT or iVTEC engines, which have variable valve timing on Petrol and thus a variable Timing advance is also required on CNG.
EG Dynamic enables connection to the single inductive type CKP sensor and up-to two digital CKP type of sensors connected in any configuration. This universal TAP scans and learns crankshaft and camshaft signals from different types of engines ensuring no interference in car's OBD system and no check lights due to mismatch of sensors as in other static Timing Advance Processors available in the industry.
EG Dynamic ensures that different degree of Advance can be set at different load conditions or engine RPM and all this can be calibrated with software for a Petrol like performance, and all this is visible in a graph, a must on all CNG run vehicles. It may also be noted that EG Dynamic comes built in the EG Superior ECU.
A 3D-DYNAMIC TAP is also available with three Digital channels which enables advance of cars with one digital CKP and two digital CMP sensors (eg Honda Civic,New City,Accord etc).
A proper advance of the engine ensures that the mileage on CNG is also good as the engine gets enough time to ignite an otherwise slow to ignite mix of Air and CNG. Thus using a DYNAMIC TAP greatly increases the efficiency on CNG besides giving a Petrol like performance.
